5 Stars Works great for me… Your mileage may vary
After trying on 6 different brands and models of shoe at the local running store I settled on these Sauconys. Having never owned a pair I was very cautious on how they would work out, especially with my IT band syndrome.
Since then, May 2008, I’ve put around 500 miles on these shoes and love them. It’s time for a new pair and here I am for more.
I advise anyone who is to embark on road running to get a proper fit with someone who knows what to look for. Take the time, spend the money for a good pair of shoes. Once you find some that work for you, just buy more!

I took up running again and after trying 8 different pairs of shoes the Triumph 5 was for me. For a neutral runner who needs good cushion. I have taken 3 pairs of the 5′s to over 300 miles before I had to get a new pair. I’ve trained for and run in several half marathons in this shoe and never had a problem with blisters or sore feet. The Triumph 6 is out now and feels even better but I’m using all my 5s before I make the big switch.
If you need cushion and are a neutral runner these are the shoes for you.

Saucony Triumph 5 feels great and runs even better. Although it is not the most comfortable when standing, it has the right amount of cushion and support and spring when running. Is relatively light although some other running shoes weigh less. Shoe sells for about $120 elsewhere. Very happy with this purchase.
5 Stars Excellent shoe for the money
I shopped around and found this shoe for $75. Been running 3-6 miles 3 days a week for about a month. Shoe is light and cushy, much better than the $70 Nike’s Nike’s it replaced. I was considering a high-end Mizuno and some others in the $120 price range. I don’t see how much better you can get than these shoes by spending an extra $50. Shop around as some retailers were charging over $100 for this exact pair.

Good shoes. Good for Running or walking. Fit good and wore very well. Lasted about a year.
